Montana native Hana Pestle has been added to the Montana leg of Secondhand Serenade’s tour and will be opening for the band at the Babcock Theater in Billings tonight.

Pestle was added as a replacement for The Audition, a pop rock Victory Records band from Chicago.

Pestle last performed in Billings in August to a sold-out audience at the Venture Theatre. She returns to Billings with her much-anticipated debut album, “This Way,” released Sept. 22 on producer Ben Moody’s label, FNR Records.

Secondhand Serenade is the solo project of singer/songwriter John Vesely. With a formula that follows the likes of indie pop pioneer Chris Carrabba, Vesely has attracted fans with sticky-sweet love songs and emotionally charged lyrics.

Secondhand Serenade’s single “Fall for You,” from the sophomore release “A Twist in My Story,” was a Top 40 radio hit, and Vesely is working with producer Aaron Johnson (The Fray), to record his third album.

Other opening acts include Evan Taubenfeld and The Rust. Taubenfeld is best known as the musical director and lead guitarist for Avril Lavigne, and the Rust is a Nashville-based pop band.

General admission tickets for the all-ages show are $23 (plus applicable fees), available at Rimrock Mall, Ernie November, by phone at 800-325-SEAT or online at www.ticketswest.com or at the door.
