Punk rockers NOFX will make an appearance in Billings on April 23.

Punk rock band NOFX will make an appearance in Billings on Friday, April 23. Known for their could-care-less attitude and fast-paced, clever punk songs, the rockers from Cali peaked during the 90s with releases “White Trash, Two Heebs and a Bean,” “Punk in Drublic” and “Heavy Petting Zoo.”

Though less frequently, the band continued releasing music through the last decade and to date has a dozen full-lengths, 15 EPs, and plenty of 7″ singles to their credit.

Vocalist and bassist Fat Mike and guitarist Eric Melvin formed the band formed in the early 1980s in Los Angeles. The band has gone through numerous lineup changes, but original members, including drummer Erik Sandin and guitarist/trumpet player El Hefe, have reunited for the current tour.

Wyoming punk band Teenage Bottlerocket and Tony Sly, of No Use for a Name, will open the all-ages show. Teenage Bottlerocket formed in 2001 in Laramie, Wyo. and signed to Fat Wreck Chords in 2009. They released “They Came From the Shadows” in September 2009 and announced in early 2010 that they were invited to hit the road with NOFX and Tony Sly in April and May.
